While late to the common rail party the powerstroke came out swinging in 2008 with a large fuel system, compound turbos.. these trucks responded extremely well to basic bolt-ons and tuners.  But pushed beyond their limitations and being plagued with a DPF exhaust system these can be some of the more expensive trucks to maintain and keep on the road.
