Common LB7 Duramax ProblemsExhaust haze at idle is by far the most common complaint among LB7 owners. These problems are almost certainly caused by worn/leaking injectors. As the injectors wear they cause excessive fuel quantity to enter the cylinder and can't be fully burned, especially at an idle. Once under load this excessive fuel is generally able to be consumed and little to no driving concerns are noted other than the haze at idle.
