After 15 years of the basic Duramax architecture not changing... 2017 brought on GM's take on the 6.6L Duramax.  With a stronger block, bigger crank shaft, and much more robust injection pump... these engines are powerhouses!

Costs of custom tuning... LOL.  Unfortunately these trucks are expensive to modify.

There are no current solutions to this right now.  Hopefully as time goes on there will be more options to drive the pricing down and get everyone some more affordable tuning options.
