Despite the common "dead pedal" concerns these trucks make torque quickly and are excellent towing trucks and achieve respectable mileage as well.  Once the dreaded CP4 injection pump is addressed these trucks are often problem-free.  

Common LML Duramax Problems

CP4 failures!!!  If you own one of these trucks and do a quick Google search you may not want to own one.  But with proper fuel filtration, quality fuel, and a bit of luck??  ...we have seen these trucks go 6-7-800,000kms on the original CP4.

Solutions

Offering CAT fuel filter adaptors (from Nicktane) and lift pump options (from FASS and AirDog) to help keep your CP4 together as well as the guaranteed fix of replacing the problematic CP4 with the older (but much more reliable) CP3 pump (with conversion kits from Fleece Performance Engineering, Industrial Injection, and S&S Diesel).  We stock and install these parts every single week.
