SDS Transmission Warranty
Schultz Diesel Sports (here and after referred to as SDS) offers a 90 day limited workmanship warranty on all performance transmissions. This warranty will not cover damage to any hard parts including but not limited to, cases, input/output shafts, and gear sets. Damage to hard parts is considered by SDS to be caused from abuse and misuse of the vehicle by the customer or the consistent driver. SDS does not warranty any damages caused by operator error. Upon finding evidence of such SDS will inform you that your warranty is void and all costs associated with diagnosing and repairing the transmission will come at the cost of the customer. Please note that SDS will not warranty work that was done by another shop or mechanic/technician under any circumstances for any of our transmission types. Unauthorized work performed by another mechanic/mechanics shop, to a warranted SDS part will void any further warranty. Should an SDS employee find evidence of previous repair that was not performed at SDS the cost of repair and diagnosis in its entirety, will come at the expense of the customer. SDS is not responsible for the vehicle or vehicle parts transportation to the SDS location in Calgary, AB. This responsibility falls at the hands of the customer including any costs relating to transport. SDS is also not responsible for any further damage that may occur during the towing or shipping process and detailed pictures of the vehicle or part must be emailed to an SDS employee before the item is sent out. The customer will also receive detailed pictures from the SDS team when the part arrives so neither party can claim damages that are out of control of SDS. SDS will not cover labor costs, downtime, loss of wages, lodging, storage fees, fluids, rental vehicles, or any other expense that may occur when having the transmission serviced for warranty.
